Introduction

BTVisualFTP is a visual FTP client component for Borland Delphi(tm) and Kylix(tm) which can be used to create applications with an embedded FTP client window.

Note:
Starting with version 1.8, BTVisualFTP will be developed and tested using Indy version 10.1.5 (this is the version included in Delphi 2006) or higher.

License

You may choose between two licenses: GPL and commercial. The license agreement for the GPL license is located in the installation folder. A commercial license may be purchased online at http://www.mikejustin.com/

Installation

Usage

  1. choose the BetaTools component palette page
  2. select a VisualFTP component and drop it on the form
  3. choose the Indy Clients component palette page
  4. drop a IdFTP component on the form
  5. select the VisualFTP component and open the object inspector
  6. link the VisualFTP property 'FTP' to the IdFTP component
  7. configure the IdFTP component (host, username, password)
  8. use the Connect method to establish a connection
